Fiber Optic Isolated Voltage Probe. ISOVP-L

 

 

ISOVP-L fiber isolated probe

The ISOVP-L is a novel isolated voltage probe derived from the ISOVP and aimed at power electronics and high voltage use. The probe was designed to minimize input capacitance as this is what hurts most high frequency measurements. This together with the optical isolation and the excellent CMRR provides accurate measurements in high-side and floating measurements.
 

The receiver is USB powered, connects to any oscilloscope via a BNC cable and features an auto-zero function. The emitter runs on standard AA batteries for more than 6h continuously, has a standard camera mount thread and is small enough to fit inside cabinets and small spaces. A unique touch protected SMB input connector designed by SAKER gives users added safety when handling the probe as well as extra signal integrity.

The ISOVP-L exceeds the specifications of competing probes, eliminates the need to invest in new scopes making it an ideal choice for customers with tight budgets. Finally researchers have a chance to leave behind the less than optimal measurements taken by traditional differential probes.
