The HFKV is a novel sensor that provides a means to measure high frequency content in medium voltage distribution networks in an isolated way, with a high bandwidth and a well defined frequency response, contrary to typical medium voltage sensors and instrument transformers. This innovative medium voltage sensor features fiber optic isolation and a precise 16-bit analog to digital converter, all of which enables low noise, high rejection to interference and proper identification of high frequency and low level harmonics.
